While these benefits are comparable to most basic business travel cards, the Business Altitude Connect lacks the kind of premium travel benefits that appeal to business owners who spend more time on the plane than in the office. Points also cannot be transferred to outside travel partners.
Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card
You can transfer your Chase Ultimate Rewards® points to over a dozen external partners, including popular airlines and hotel chains. You can also transfer your Ink Business Preferred points to the Chase Sapphire Reserve (if you have them). This allows you to squeeze even more value out of the points you earn.

US Bank Business Altitude Connect earns 4x points on the first $150,000 of total annual spending on trips that include gas stations and EV charging stations. This is an unmatched rate on other business travel cards, which typically require booking through the card's dedicated travel portal to earn more than 3 points per dollar. However, it's worth noting that Business Altitude Connect also offers that option. Earn 5x points on hotels and rental cars booked directly through the US Bank Rewards Center.

If you have the Chase Sapphire Reserve® as your personal card, you can also transfer your Ink Business Preferred points to the Sapphire Reserve card and increase their value to 1.5 cents per point. US Bank has a similar premium personal card in the Altitude Reserve, but points earned via Business Altitude Connect cannot be transferred to the Altitude Reserve card.
Lack of premium travel benefits
While the US Bank Business Altitude Connect offers hefty rewards on your travel spending, this card lacks the additional travel benefits that many competitors offer. Just carrying your card around won't earn you elite status at any hotel or airline.
