The center opened April 29 at 7300 Williamson Road in Roanoke County. President David Dillon said 45 people work there, 18 new employees and 27 from the dealership's old address three-quarters of a mile away. The company plans to set aside land behind the center for more cars and other expansion opportunities, Dillon said.
The best-selling Hyundai in the U.S. is the Tucson, with a base price of $27,500 and 61,194 units sold from Jan. 1 to April 30, Dillon said. The SUV is available in gasoline, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid models.
