Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) is proud to announce its 2024-2027 Strategic Business Plan.
The strategic plan outlines four goals that will provide direction for WRPS in serving Waterloo Region residents over the next three years. Our goals are: Safety Commitment, Connections, Members, and Resources.
“The 2024-2027 Strategic Business Plan outlines our commitment to meet the evolving needs of our dynamic community and to ensure that everyone in Waterloo Region is safe and secure. “It helps us maintain our vision of,” said Police Chief Mark Crowell. “We will continue our efforts to build a more equitable and inclusive service focused on people, partnerships and professional excellence.”
In developing its strategic plan, WRPS engaged with the community through a series of 22-hour virtual dialogue sessions in the summer of 2023. Additional feedback was obtained through one-on-one interviews, email submissions, and existing trusted community representatives. Stakeholders who collected answers on our behalf.
