Meghan Markle is taking on a royal rival in the business world.
King Charles reportedly announced the new products just hours after rumours began circulating that the Duchess was planning to launch new products as part of her own lifestyle brand.
The 75-year-old monarch introduced the world to Highgrove Royal Estate Honey, which weighs 350 grams and weighs 25 pounds per jar.
The delicacy is produced by royal bees on the Queen's private estate and is “a wonderful gift for gourmets, with its distinct lime flavour”.
This announcement was made suit Alumni have added rosé wine to American Riviera Orchard's product collection.
Meghan was previously accused of imitating the monarch after she unveiled jars of two flavours of jam – raspberry and strawberry – which were similar to the strawberry jam at Buckingham Palace.
The description of Charles Highgrove Organic Royal Estate Honey in the Royal Collection Shop reads: “It is made from pollen collected by countless bees living in specially commissioned traditional English double-walled beehives on the estate. Each hive is uniquely designed and took almost a year to build by hand.”
“The bees work in the hedgerows of Highgrove Gardens in spring and forage in the lime trees in late June and early July.
“This organic soft-set honey has a distinct lime flavor and makes a great gourmet gift for any foodie.”
