A Broomfield man was sentenced this week to 10 years in prison for drug trafficking, according to federal authorities.
Kenston Harry, 42, was also sentenced to five years of supervised release by U.S. District Judge Janet Bond Arterton in New Haven, federal authorities said.
Authorities say the Drug Enforcement Administration's Bridgeport Concentrated Drug Trafficking Area Task Force investigated a drug trafficking organization led by Norwalk resident Taj Wiley, also known as Yung, and discovered that Wiley “conspired with Harry and others to They were found to have distributed fentanyl, cocaine, and marijuana throughout the area.” ”
According to federal authorities, Prince Harry was arrested in June 2021, and at the time investigators searched his home in Bloomfield and his business company, Action Audio, in Hartford. “A search of his residence revealed more than one kilogram of fentanyl, more than one kilogram of cocaine, a kilogram press and other items used to process and package drugs for distribution,” authorities said. It was announced that marijuana and other items were seized.
Harry was found guilty by a jury of conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute 400 grams or more of fentanyl, 500 grams or more of cocaine, and marijuana. He was charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute 400 grams of fentanyl. One count of possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine. Federal authorities say he also faces one count of possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
As a result of the investigation, Harry, Wiley, and six others were indicted.
A jury found Wiley guilty of multiple crimes in July 2022, and he was later sentenced to a total of 144 months in prison.
According to federal authorities, law enforcement seized more than $100,000 worth of jewelry and a 2021 Mercedes-Benz worth about $146,000 from Wylie.
Prince Harry was released on $250,000 bail and must report to prison on October 25th.
