IGNOU Business Plan Competition: The Institutional Innovation Council (IIC) of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is organizing a Business Plan Competition 2024 for undergraduates and graduates. Interested students can register for IGNOU-IIC Business Plan Competition 2024 till April 30, 2024. Applications should be submitted to the following address: nside@iqnou.ac.in.
IGNOU is organizing this competition keeping in mind the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047 of the union government. Entries for the competition should focus on Atmanirbhar Bharat projects aimed at encouraging, supporting and nurturing startup culture in the country.
This competition is held to help students and graduates turn their innovative ideas into reality. The top three winners of the competition will receive prizes, mentorship, and incubation opportunities to turn their ideas into concrete businesses.
Who can apply for IGNOU Business Plan Competition 2024?
To apply for the Business Plan Competition 2024, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be students or alumni of IGNOU.
- The applicant is Innovative business plan prototypes for launching businesses and startups based on novel, socially relevant and practical business ideas.
Awards IGNOU Business Plan Competition winner
The top three business plans will be awarded the Best Business Plan Award 2024 by IGNOU. They receive cash prizes, souvenirs, and certificates. Additionally, incubation opportunities and mentoring support are provided. Please see below for details.

Applications should be based on a theme that is in line with the vision of Vikshit Bharat 2047. The themes for which students can submit their applications are listed below.
