TeamViewer, a leading global provider of remote connectivity and workplace digitalization solutions, recently announced that Vandemoortele Group has deployed TeamViewer’s augmented reality (AR) platform, Frontline, to digitally transform its warehouse picking operations.
VandeMaertelle is a European market leader in the production of bakery products, margarines and culinary fats and oils. TeamViewerThe company has deployed its vision picking solution in its warehouse in Izegem, Belgium, to consolidate large orders from food service and retail customers. Workers wear head-mounted smart glasses and a display in the worker's field of vision clearly shows which item to pick next, guiding them through every step of the process, including picking and packing pallets to ensure stability. The solution is fully voice-controlled, leaving both hands completely free to operate the pallet truck and do the actual picking.
