Regional Director, Asia Pacific, Conservation Capital
Francis is the Asia Pacific Director for Conservation Capital, working on protected area operational programs, innovative natural capital finance and sustainable natural resource management projects in Africa, Asia and South America. Conservation Capital partners with businesses, civil society, governments, multilateral development banks, supranational organizations, private landowners and indigenous communities to create and protect resilient natural landscapes that support communities and private enterprise. Conservation Capital works in over 40 counties and has mobilized over $250 million in natural capital investments.
Francis is also a subject matter expert on corporate sustainable development, ESG strategy, sustainability reporting and carbon management including carbon offsets and nature-based solutions, focusing on global climate investments that deliver ecological and social synergies and meet international best practice standards.
Prior to joining Conservation Capital, Francis was a senior Certified Public Accountant with over 10 years of experience working in the fields of audit, agriculture, banking and fund management, and international development. In addition to his CPA qualification, he holds two international master's degrees: a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from Columbia University (New York City) and a Master of International Business Administration from IE Business School (Madrid).
