“Latino-owned” business attributes
Business owners with Latinx heritage can add a “Latino-owned” attribute to display on their Yelp page. This free, searchable attribute helps consumers discover and support local businesses owned by people of color.
How to Add “Latinx Owned” to Your Yelp Page
- Log in to Yelp for Business ([ビジネス情報]tab)
- [アメニティ]In the section[追加]or[編集]Click.
- Select “Yes” next to “Latinx Owned”
- Click Save
Add unlimited attributes to your pages to identify your business as all-owned, Asian-owned, Black-owned, LGBTQ-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned, and more. Helpful. Follow the same steps above to add the attributes of your choice.
Why “Latin”?
There are many terms commonly used to describe people of Latin descent. Before choosing “Latinx-owned” as an inclusive, gender-neutral label for this new attribute, we conducted research, surveyed Latinx Yelp employees, and researched the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, our partners, and more. I spoke to members of the Latinx community and groups. Moment Latino.
