Meta announced the expansion of its Facebook and Instagram Verified subscription plans for businesses in India. The social media giant introduced Meta Verified for businesses last year. The company said the expanded Meta Verified business service will include a verified badge, commonly referred to as a “blue tick.” Additionally, the subscription will provide users with enhanced impersonation protection, account support, and other features to help them connect and be discovered.
Subscribers can choose from four Meta Verified subscription plans, which can be purchased through Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp's iOS and Android apps.
“Businesses have the option to purchase Meta Verified for Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, or make a bundled purchase for Facebook and Instagram.”
Verified enterprise plans start at Rs 639 per month for a single app and go up to Rs 21,000 per month as an introductory discounted rate for both apps.
The tech giant also offers support to its verified subscribers, starting with access to email and chat with agents, to requesting callbacks from agents, and dedicated case monitoring with each plan.
