Featuring some of the more advanced features of Ci's Enterprise tier plans, such as custom branding and usage analytics, this new tier offers valuable benefits, affordability, and simplified onboarding.
Ci Transfer desktop app and sidecar ingestion workflow
Ci Transfer is a desktop app that enables fast transfer of files and folders to and from the Ci Media Cloud platform. This new app, available for Mac and PC devices, supports multi-giga speed transfers[3], retries transfers after interruptions, and is optimized to handle hundreds of files. Pause and resume transfers and transfer reports allow you to prioritize urgent files for quick transfers, which can be verified with transfer logs once completed. For large organizations migrating archive libraries, the Ci Transfer app, combined with the new sidecar ingest workflow, allows customers to move media libraries without losing sidecar metadata. If you upload both JSON files along with your media files, Ci will automatically link the metadata to your media files. Ci Transfer is free to download for all Ci users. Sidecar ingestion workflow is an entitlement feature for enterprise customers.
Dolby Atmos support
You can now upload video and audio files with Dolby Atmos and play them in Ci's player experience. Integration with Dolby.io enables support for ADM (Audio Definition Model) BWF (Broadcast Wave Format) Atmos audio, allowing users to choose to listen and download binaural or stereo audio proxies directly on Ci. Users can also visually check Loudness Units Full Scale (LUFS) and true peak levels with Ci's built-in media analysis tools. Creative and quality assurance (QA) teams can hear and work with immersive content as it was intended.
