ABM, the integrated facilities and aviation services provider, has appointed a new managing director and finance leader as it continues to deliver on its ambitious growth plans.
Campbell Murdoch joins the company as Managing Director, Business & Industry, as part of the senior leadership team.
Under the direction of Richard Sykes, Senior Vice President and President, UK and Ireland, Mr Murdoch will work alongside Jim Niblock, Managing Director, Transport and Aviation, and Ian Anderson, Managing Director, All-Ireland. Dealing with business.
A senior executive with over 20 years of experience, Murdoch joins ABM from City FM, where he was Managing Director, and will play a key role in delivering ABM's growth strategy, which is driven by the rapid expansion of its technology service offering.
Commenting on his new role, Murdoch said: “I'm excited to join such a dynamic team, all of whom are motivated to achieve our goal of growing our ABM business. I've been incredibly impressed with the people I've already met within the Business & Industry team and look forward to working with them to seize the tremendous opportunity that lies ahead.”
ABM has also appointed Liz Freeman as shared services director of treasury for the UK and Ireland. She brings a wealth of industry experience having held senior treasury roles for the past 20 years, most recently at OCS.
These appointments follow the appointments of Niall Partridge as finance director for the UK and Ireland and Simon Barnes as vice president of sales for the UK and Ireland at the end of 2023. Together they will be responsible for delivering both short-term and long-term business objectives.

Alongside building the right leadership team, a key part of ABM's immediate strategy has been to consolidate the teams under the One ABM approach. Following the relocation of its London Bridge office to Transport for London's (TfL) North Greenwich office, the Irish blackjack promotion team has also relocated to ABM Ireland headquarters (formerly Momentum Support). Recently, ABM announced that it would be relocating its two West London offices to new headquarters at Heathrow Airport. ABM said the move was “investment” It reflects the employee and company vision for a more connected culture.
