Police arrested 10 people as part of a bid to tackle business crime.
During Friday's Safer Business Action Day activities, officers carried out a number of vehicle checks and searches.
Chief Superintendent Sam Donaldson said: “Police officers across Northern Ireland carried out a planned operation including high visibility patrols, proactive action against criminals and worked with local businesses and the public.” said.
“Working with our police partners An Garda Síochána and Belfast Port Police, we carried out 18 vehicle checkpoints, including in Newry and Belfast.
“We also arrested 10 people on suspicion of a number of offences, including theft, carried out 14 searches and issued three Community Resolution Notices (CRNs).”
He added: “This follows seizures on Thursday where detectives from the Organized Crime Unit seized more than 20,000 counterfeit Apple products in Portadown and Belfast, including AirPods, Apple chargers and iPhones.
“Safer Business Action Days is part of the National Month of Action to Combat Retail Crime, launched by the National Corporate Crime Centre.
“This is an opportunity for us to work with our partners to highlight our crime prevention efforts, strengthen collaboration with local businesses and retailers, and tackle the most prolific offenders.”
Mr Donaldson urged retailers to report violations to police and to contact local community and crime prevention officials.
He said: “We know that underreporting is an issue across all areas of business crime.
