Shari Redstone's family owns CBS and Viacom and has been pushing for a merger between the two media companies for years. After two failed attempts, her dream is finally coming true. This week, the boards of CBS Corp. and Viacom Inc. announced the formation of ViacomCBS, a $28 billion combined company that includes CBS, the most-watched broadcast network. Paramount Pictures movie studio and numerous cable TV networks.
