After a hugely successful pilot program earlier this year, we're launching our next six-month business coaching program on Wednesday, November 29th. This interactive online course is designed specifically for FMB members and is brought to you by award-winning business coach Maria Coulter.
Additionally, if your business is registered with CITB, this coaching can be fully funded through the CITB Skills and Training Fund. This is a great opportunity to receive great coaching for free!
What does the coaching program include?
Construction coach Maria Coulter has developed a “Success Pathway” for construction contractors that has been tested with over 100 small businesses. This aligns with the following key themes:
- Mindset (motivation and business vision).
- Identify profit stealers and risks.
- Improving productivity through technology and innovation.
- Win the job and get the compensation you deserve.
- Get the shipping right.
- Attract the right people to work for you.
How does the program run?
- The next 6 month program starts on Held from Wednesday, November 29, 2023 until May 2024.
- Delivered via weekly one-hour group Zoom calls for groups of up to 40 members, supported by construction coaches and peer-to-peer mentoring.
- In case you miss a session, we've included a workbook, other online resources, and a recording of the session.
- FMB resources such as contracts and documents are integrated into the program.
- Join our course WhatsApp group to get support and information from other members.

Who is the program for?

How much does it cost?
Prices are £90 (+VAT) per month, or a one-time payment of £540 (+VAT) for a 6-month course.
If your business is registered with CITB, the cost of this program will be fully covered by CITB. CITB Skills and Training Fund.Approval is required so you need to apply for funding now before the course starts Approval can take up to 4 weeks. This is a simple process, but if you need assistance, please contact your local CITB advisor. We also recommend considering whether you have other training needs so you can apply for them all at once.
