Mission
The Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business prepares graduates who are servant-leaders equipped with the 21st century skills to succeed in a dynamic global economy.
vision
The Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business will build signature programs by leveraging strengths in foundational areas (academic departments). These business-essential competencies will be differentiators and contribute to elevating Clemson University's educational relevance on a national level.
Business Prep Curriculum
Students seeking bachelor's degrees in accounting, economics, financial management, business administration and marketing complete a standard curriculum in their first year, including Business 1010, as well as economics courses and mathematics courses.
This will provide a foundational understanding of the scope of our business degrees and help students make an informed decision about their major. We have designed this first year to lay the foundation for a more successful college experience and a more meaningful Clemson experience.
