Inspired by New Orleans and in a prime coastal location, Jadon Langone serves hot beer from his unique location on Bourbon Street.
At just 23 years old, Mr. Langdon threw in real estate and construction jobs, unloaded shipping containers, built decks, and took advantage of 89 Barnett Street's prime views.
Mr. Langdon had always been passionate about coffee, so he “nagged and nagged” the owner until he said yes.

Besides the car park, which is a 'Buderim product', the charm of the former vacant lot speaks for itself.
“You don't see as many people along the coast, because you're on a hill and you look at the views,” Langdon said.
Overhead costs are low and business has been better than expected since opening in March, Langdon said.

“It was much cheaper than renting a store and gave us a good time to set up the business before anything went wrong with the land,” he said.
Although he currently serves semi-professional coffee in Brisbane, Mr Langdon's vision is to take his culinary skills from home kitchens to the public's table.
The store's name, décor and future prospects were inspired by Bourbon Street in New Orleans, one of Mr. Langdon's bucket list places. He loves the Southern state's signature style and smoked meats, and hopes to open a kitchen nearby or on-site, development permitting.

Tarawood purchased the 2.09 hectare parcel in 2016 for $1.65 million. An adjoining vacant store on 1,386 square meters of land was sold to another buyer for $1.2 million in July this year.
Mr Langdon said he was unaware of plans for the property, but for now he and his three co-workers were enjoying the “relaxed, very cool” location.
