Operating under Urban Eye Care Associates LLC, his 1,200 square foot site joins Vision Clinic PC affiliates in South National, Nixa and Ozark. Dr. M. Cory Scaul and his wife, Bethany, an office administrator, runs Vision Clinic Downtown, which offers vision tests, contact lenses, glasses, and can diagnose glaucoma symptoms. Bethany Scaul said the clinic fills a void in optometry services exclusively for downtown residents. Prices vary based on co-pay and vision insurance, but without insurance, a comprehensive annual exam costs $84, she said. Everything Kitchens LLC
On Oct. 3, Everything Kitchens LLC added a 3,100-square-foot retail store at 2750 S. Glenstone Ave. in Brentwood Center.Founder emily church He said the 10-year-old company operates a 13,000-square-foot warehouse at 1920 W. Woodland St. primarily for Internet orders. According to its website, Everything Kitchens carries about 4,500 kitchen products and appliances, including cutlery, food processors, deep fryers and baking supplies from brands such as KitchenAid, Cuisinart and Bosch. Mr Church, the eldest of nine children, said he was inspired to start the business, which employs 19 people, because he cooked while growing up. Sisters in Time LLC
martha cooper and gina lippy opened Sisters in Time LLC, a commercial kitchen and bakery, on Oct. 18 at 326 E. Commercial St. A handful of commercial bakeries share the nearly 1,500-square-foot space, including Julia Snyder of Julia's Java and Jessica Zimmerman of Cupcake Retro. Sisters in Time offers a bakery, deli and market selling baked goods, deli sandwiches, preservative-free breads, homemade pies, cupcakes, coffee and more.
