SK Telecom today announced that it will participate in the 2022 Busan International Motor Show and the 2022 Korea Drone/UAM Expo to showcase its business vision and goals for urban air mobility.
The 2022 Busan International Motor Show will be held at BEXCO in Busan from July 15, 2022. SKT will showcase its innovative UAM services at its 400 square meter booth, allowing visitors to experience UAM flight aboard a giant robotic arm simulator.
Additionally, a large LED screen installed on the back wall of the booth will show the sky of Busan in 2030, as well as AR images of UAM aircraft welcoming passengers at the vertiport.
From July 15, 2022, the “K-UAM Dream Team” with SKT will participate in the 2022 Korea Drone/UAM Expo to be held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
SKT is scheduled to announce its UAM business plan at the “UAM Team Korea Strategic Forum,'' which will be held prior to the opening of the Expo. At the forum, diverse companies driving UAM business will share their progress and present their proposals.
The “K-UAM Dream Team Consortium'' will also set up an exhibition space where it can demonstrate its strengths in various fields such as UAM operations, air traffic control, infrastructure, aircraft, and services.
